Cisco 871-K9 URL Filtering

Hello,

I'm have Cisco 871-K9

SDM version: 2.3

IOS version: 12.4(6)T2

In the URL Filtering section router says:

Application Firewall unavailable.

The IOS image in your router does not support the requested feature. To configure the feature, you need to go to the Software Center on Cisco.com and upgrade your IOS image to one that supports thyis feature set. URL Filtering

Any idea what to do.

Are you running your box with the following ios code c870-advipservicesk9-mz.12.4-6.T.bin ?

Do confirm the exact ios code name which is there in your box out there..

As per the feature navigator the ios code which you are currently having in your box support URL web filtering.

Though i am not sure about SDM can you try configuring up the same using CLI ?

This IOS supports firewall feature, but this will be done through external software called Websense...Are you having that software?
