What, exactly, is the problem?
The router is booting in SD-WAN.  This means saving a config, in CLI, is not possible.

Thanks Leo,

So, how can I change it's mode for normal configuration. Please advise how can I change SD-WAN mode to normal mode.

it is booting now with this image: ISR Software (X86_64_LINUX_IOSD-UCMK9-M), Version 16.9.2, RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc1)

and earlier it is booting with image: ISR Software (X86_64_LINUX_IOSD-UNIVERSLAK9-M), Version 16.6.6, RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc1)

So, kindly advice how can i move back to ISR Software (X86_64_LINUX_IOSD-UNIVERSLAK9-M), Version 16.6.6

Please assist.

If the router is still in ROMMON, post the complete output to the command "set".

Hi Leo,

will check and reply. meanwhile can you check in logs, is IOS corrupt from flash ?

If the router can boot into SD-WAN profile, then it is guaranteed the flash is not corrupt.

but it shows:-

no valid BOOT image found
Final autoboot attempt from default boot device...
Located isr4300-ucmk9.16.9.2.SPA.bin
######################################################################################################################################

means original IOS image ISR Software (X86_64_LINUX_IOSD-UNIVERSLAK9-M), Version 16.6.6 was not in flash. that's why it is not booting. or image have in flash we have to select boot preference.

please suggest.

Because someone has misconfigured the boot variable statement.

First things first.  If the router is booting into ROMMON, provide the output to the command "set" so we can get the router to boot into "autonomous" (non-SDA).  Once we get that one fixed, then we can fix the boot variable statement.

set command output:-

rommon 2 > set
PS1=rommon ! >
THRPUT=
BSI=0
RET_2_RCALTS=
RANDOM_NUM=1825638384

In ROMMON, enter the following command:

set DEVICE_MANAGED_MODE=autonomous

WARNING:  Above command is very case sensitive.

Reboot and see what happens.

If not, in IOS, enter the command:

controller-mode disable

can it is use with: set controller-mode disable
