Hello,
We have here an old Cisco 878 router and want to use for ISDN
remote dial-in.
I was able to configure the router using the console as far as I
could run the Cisco SDM. But I have problems to configure the
dial. In the SDM graphic interface I can not find a suitable option.
Only VPN over the internet.
In Cisco Config Maker, the router is not listed. Maybe the 878
compatible with any of the listed?
Many thanks in advance
Fabian

For that, as well for many other things, you cannot use GUI, but only good old CLI.

Hello Paolo,
this is bad news, as I feared.
Unfortunately, I do not know sufficient about the Cisco CLI.
Can you help me to configure the router, or tell me where
I can find helpful information?
What I need would be:
- ISDN remote dial-in
- Dial-in only by one number
- 1 user and password
Again, many thanks in advance
Fabian
