DSL circuit atm interface mtu problem

Hi,

I have 836 router . Ping test with 2000 mtu is absolutly fine ( ping count 1000) but when mtu =1500, lots of drops..

Unable to understand that ..

Are you speaking of the Datagram size?

Ok, so what are you pinging and whats the connectivity between the two deviced?

i m try ing to ping the directly connetd ip over the dsl circuit
