An E1 card is configured for two channels, 256kbps and 128 kbps.

both lines are generating CRC and input errors with lot of packet drops. line is checked , all loop tests are fine, modems has been checked back to back. e1 card also has been changed, still problem persists.

Hi

(1)You have not given model no of the E1 card and the router in which they are used?

(2)Are the E1 cards working back-to-back?

Typically they should.

(3)Also check the jumper settings for the balanced and unbalanced PRI?

Pls revert back if any probs.

JD

Hello,

in addition to the other posts, you might want to check the clock settings on your E1, make sure it is set to ´clock source line´...

Regards,

GP

clock setting is set as clock source line only.

still problem persists
