Hi,
I have very big confusing in eigrp bandwitdh allocate, actually i have two eigrp topology using frame-relay switch one is hub and spoke
scenario another one is point-to-point connection from hub to spoke,
Now in first topology hub has connection with two spokes R1--R2 and R1--R3, hub using serial interface with default bandwitdh 1.544kbps and both spokes aslo the same bw. how i have to calculate to reduce the bandwidth for eigrp to use 25% bw on hub interface, by default eigrp take 50% of bw so (1.544 /2 = 0.772 25% = 0.193kb), is this right ??, please any one make it clear for me,it would be greatly appreciated

1544/4 = 386
193 would be 1/8 which is 12.5%

So you have one physical interface with two spokes connected to it?
The default is to use a MAXIMUM of 50% which would be 772 kbit/s. If you set it to 25% then it would be 386 kbit/s.
It's not very likely that you have this much EIGRP traffic running though. Is this for production or labbing?

Hi, i just practice on lab, how did you get 386kbps value, it should be 0.193 ??

1544/4 = 386
193 would be 1/8 which is 12.5%
