Hello,
we are using HWIC-3G-HSPA on a 2811 router. Sometimes, we have many packet loss, ping between the cellular interface and the peer doesn't respond.
After rebooting the router, everything works well again.
What could be the reason? how can we fix the problem without having to restart the router every time.

Hello Paolo,
In case we need advanced security IOS, which one should we use.
it seems only "IP-base W/O crypto" option is available for 15.0(1)M5.
Other 15.0(1)Mx have "advanced security" option

On cisco.com, all images are available, provided you have a registered support contract.
Thanks for the nice rating and good luck!

Paolo,
what is the basis upon which you suggest IOS upgrade?
Is there a specific bug that you know has been resolved?
We have experienced troubles that may be the same as the one described by the OP (only with 1841+HWIC-3G+IOS 15.1(1)T1), but I wouldn't embark on multiple up/downgrades without a sound reason.
Thank you,
