Hi,
I need a help ! its urgent,
I have OSPF Network that include 10 Cisco Routers 7200, suddenly The OSPF adjacency between the routers flapped and it gives Log: Too Many Re transmission OSPF Packets.
After Deep Investigation I found that There is on all interfaces of all Routers has Ignored Packets which is equal to Input errors,
for Example :

I've checked the MTU size on whole paths, there are all compitable and equal to each other, even on L2 Devices, So I don't think the problem from MTU Value.

Problem is resolved by replacing the routers to higher series ASR1000

I am a bit puzzled. You are showing us output about a physical interface. But its encapsulation looks like it is trunking
Encapsulation 802.1Q Virtual LAN, Vlan ID 1
Could you post the config of this interface and of the interface on the device it connects to on this interface?

Yes, Its encapsulated and its connected with Trunk Port on Switch and then to another Router.

What has changed that stopped things from working? In my opinion things dont break spontaneously.

There is nothing changed, but My Network get bigger and bigger, so there is huge flood of packets between the routers, so the routers cannot handle this huge traffic, so I guess thats why the OSPF flapped and Other Protocols, and thats why there is ignored packets on interfaces of the routers.
I read some articles, and their solutions was :
1- Change the routers to bigger ones.
2- adjusting the Buffers of Routers.

It is probably true that the network has grown a lot and that there is much more traffic. But that is not the cause of this issue. A very interesting part of one of the previous posts was this
GigabitEthernet0/28 is down, line protocol is down (notconnect)
so the switch believes that the interface is down and is not connected while the router believes that the interface is up. I believe that resolving this will be key to solving the problem described in this discussion. Is it possible that there has been some change in cabling and that the router is no longer connected where you think it is connected? Is there some other reason why the router says up while the switch says down?
