IOS image signature verification was: FAILURE
Autoboot string flash:ir800-universalk9-mz.SPA.156-3.M,12;
Failed to boot, skip first flash:ir800-universalk9-mz.SPA.156-3.M,12;
Are their any options or is this an RMA.

IOS is corrupt.  Download the IOS again from the Cisco website.

Thank you Leo.

That is what I was thinking, but I wanted to make sure. I did see on Cisco.com that the 829 has this issue and may have to be a RMA. I will give this a try.

"IOS image signature verification was: FAILURE"? Two reasons:

1. The IOS is corrupt; and
2. An IOS bug.

Try to load with other IOS

Is there any other IOS available in flash?

15.6 version is the new stuff i would recommend to use 15.5.

this is what is showing in the directory.
The pickle is that this is a loaner from cisco for us to testing, and I cannot get the IOS from cisco.com because we have not officially purchased these yet.
