I have several ISR 800 routers, where they are entering rommon mode.
I would like to know if anyone has been through this and how it resolved?
I did IOS recovery in some and it resolved, but I have many routers, and I would not like to avoid this type of problem in others.
One router I was seeing is the ISR819, it also went into rommon mode, when I try to point the image again, it gives an error (MONLIB).
IOS: 15.5.3.M4A
Is there a bug for this version that makes it go into rommon?

Check the config registry?
Post the entire boot-up process so we can have a look.

There may be couple of reasons as below :
- Configuration register forced the router to go to ROMmon mode during the boot process
- Corrupt image (IOS) on Flash
- Router was unable to find the IOS
- IOS on a router has been (accidentally) deleted from flash
post the complete boot process.
