NVRAM Problem ?

Hi,

I´m havving an strange problem, i have a 1721 router thats so strange, after a power fluctuation problems, the router comes back without any configuration, ive checked the config reg, and no problem there, after configuring the router and saved the configuration, i´ve powerdown the router and then power on, it loaded the configuration without any problems, some weeks later, the same eletric problem, and the configuration get lost, do any one knows why this ?

I have seen this problem on a couple of occasions in production networks. Both times it turned out to be a faulty NVRAM.

there is some comand to test the nvram at the cisco 1721 ? and there is some command to test the nvram battery ?
