Sharing Bandwidth Between T1 and Cable connection

I have a customer who has a Cisco 2600 with a T1 to the internet and a Ethernet port which is connected to a Cable modem (for failover).

They want to be able to utilize the bandwidth on the cable connection when the T1 is @ high usage.

Is there any kind of route statements I can put it that will allow that to happen?

thank you!

Eric

Hi

You can try configuring backup interface and backup load command under the main T1 link pointing your Cable connection so that once the configured amount of load is exceeded on the primary T1 link the secondary link will also pinch in.

But do remember to configure the NAT (if you are using) and 2 static default routes towards the T1 interface and the ethernet port where the cable connectivity is getting terminated.

you can refer this link for configuring the same ..
