Two IBM FEP are connected using DLSW+ and SDLC lines using the following configuration:
FEP-sdlc-DSLSW---IP network-DLSW-Sdlc-FEP
Is it possible also to load (perform the initial program load) of the remote FEP?
Initial loading requires RIM/SIM commands support, so in other word, does DLSW support RIM/SIM commands?Moreno sartorel, IBM Italy

Hi,
dlsw does not support SIM/RIM.
The only way to do this is to use stun basic.
thanks...

But you can have a "load connection" through STUN on the side and run main traffic over DLSW.

Hi Everyone,
DLSw rif-passthru is token ring to token ring only.
DLSw does not support SIM/RIM from SDLC to SDLC. You will need STUN BASIC for this.
