Region Packs provide localization parameters (telephony parameters, dial plans, audio files, time zone lists, etc.) so that the UC320W may operate properly in countries/regions beyond those embedded in the Software Release. Region Pack support requires UC320W firmware version 2.1.1(7) or higher. Firmware release 2.1.4(3) or higher should be installed prior to installing Region packs.
Region packs do not change the language within the UC320W Configuration Utility text itself. As a reminder you can change the UC320W Configuration Utility language to one of the supported languages by setting your browser's language preferences. You can also select one of the supported languages by adding: /wizard/setupwizard.html?m=1 to the end of the URL that you use to access the UC320W. For example, if you normally access the GUI by:
you can use:
http://192.168.10.1/wizard/setupwizard.html?m=1

Hi Alberto
I believe we have all been quite patient on waiting for a response. Is there any news on the region pack for South Africa? I see that the UC500 is being launched in SA now, has there been any development in the UC320 for the region?
Many Thanks
David
David,
Region Pack development is on hold and there is no target date yet.
Regards,
Nitin.

Hi Vincent,
We don't have plan to implement Netherlands. There is no other way to use the UC320W in the Netherlands.
Best regards,
Wendy
Why does Cisco sell the UC320W to dealers in the Netherlands through its official distributors if there is no way to use it?
Kind regards,
Alex
Dear Alexis;
First of all apologizes for any inconvenience. Some distributors are EU wide and wrongly position the product. You have the right to return the product at zero cost to the distributor.
Regards;
Alberto
Dear Wendy and Alberto,
Why don't you delevop Turkish region pack, don't you thing it will be profitable ? This product targets SMB and Turkey is the biggest emerging market in the region. You cannot compete using UC540/560 or CUCMBE with local pbx vendors in SMB section.
Regards,
Cumhur
Dear Alberto,
Returning the product is one thing.
We have customers that bought the product and have been waiting for almost a year to get the functionality they paid for. Having to bring them this message brings reputational damage to the brand and the dealers.
Regards,
Alexis
