Smart License Satellite - Explicit Proxy

Is it possible to have the cisco smart licensing appliance use an explicit http proxy? 

how do you set it? can i set it in on the linux side?

This community does not support the Smart License Satellite product, however, you should be able to find an SME under the following community section:

Otherwise, I do not see any mention of a proxy configuration within the SSMS documentation or a proxy function as part of its JeOS. However, since SSMS runs on linux you may be able to manually set / export the proxy details. In order for this configuration to stick you would also need to update the appropriate bash_profile so that the configuration is retained on reboot.

Is there a guide to configure it.
Cisco TAC was also not getting any update / feedback on setting a proxy on a SSMS

At this time I do not believe that SSMS 5.x supports a proxy configuration. This feature should be available within the 6.0 release which may also be due this June. I recommend subscribing to alerts for the latest SSMS release below:
