ASR-920-12CZ-D Showing inaccurate Inventory Description and PID

Hello, 

Our inventory team is having some trouble accounting for a few BiDi SFPs we have in our network and I am wondering if there is a way to manually edit that info.

For example, I am using a SFP-10G-BX-U-60-I-C on subslot 0/0 transceiver 13 but the 920 is seeing it as SFP-10G-BX40U-I.

NAME: "subslot 0/0 transceiver 13", DESCR: "SFP+ 10GBASE-BX40U"
PID: SFP-10G-BX40U-I , VID: V01 , SN: Left blank intentionally

There is no edit option.  This appears to be showing wrong in "show inventory" based on what you are sharing.  So this would possibly be an issue in the product and that would have to be addressed through TAC.

Also, I do not believe that SFP-10G-BX-U-60-I-C is a valid Cisco Product ID.

Hey Chris,

Thank you for valuable insights on the post and it is correct when I check from my end it is showing SFP-10G-BX-U-60-I-C that this pid is not supported
