Cannot complete "Self-Service Onboarding: Setting up the CSPC 2.6 Collector"

Hi,

I'm struggeling with setting up a collector and make it work. I have tried SolarWinds NCM Connector (since we have NCM) for almost a year now without any luck, and no one seems to be able to point me in the right direction how to solve it. See attached image for the upload error I get using SolarWinds collector.

So last week I found out that Cisco has it own collector and was thrilled to try it out. But when I follow the guide (https://supportforums.cisco.com/blog/12696871/self-service-onboarding-setting-cspc-25-collector) I get stuck at step 2 "Generate CSPC Entitlement" I cannot find Library > All Collectors, select drop down “Register a New CSPC” in my SmartServices Connection, see same attached image as above.

Are there any privileges I'm missing? Could this also be the cause of the upload issue I have with SolarWinds connector?

Thanks,

Kristofer

Hi Kristofer,

You're looking at the Cisco SmartAdvisor Portal. You want to view the Smart Net Total Care Portal. The link is the same:

https://tools.cisco.com/smartservices/

but once you get there, you will need to select "back" option above where it says SmartAdvisor

you will then see the list of options, including Smart Net Total Care.

If you don't see the option for Smart Net Total Care, then you do not yet have access to the SNTC portal. You can request it from your delegated administrator.

Thanks,

Lynden

Ah, that explains a lot! I do not have the back option. Thanks for clarifying that!

But I do not know whom my delegated administrator is. How do I contact that person and/or request access to SNTC portal?

I have looked around in my Cisco account profile and there is a tab called "Access" but there seems to be no way of requesting access to SNTC portal what I can see.

Thanks,

Kristofer

Can you access CSAM here:

https://cdceb.cloudapps.cisco.com/csam

Also, try to go here and see if you can submit to become the DA. If not, then it should send an email to your existing DA:

https://www.cisco.com/web/smartservices/sntc.html

Thanks,

Lynden

Great and thanks a lot!
