Cisco Collector 2.11 || Error during update to patch 2.11.0.1

Hello Team,

I’ve been encountering problems with the update to CSPC 2.11. I’m able to install the JeOS patch without any issues, but when I try to apply the SP patch, it starts successfully but near the end, I receive the following message:

"Child process exited abnormally."

I have already tried reinstalling and updating again, but the errors persist. I also attempted this on a different virtual machine, but the results are still the same.

Can anyone help with this?

Thanks for the logs.

I would like to inform you that according to the logs and screenshots you shared, it looks like the upgrade steps were followed correctly. If you haven't tried it, please try downloading the patch file again and validate that it is not a file error.

I just performed the test by downloading a new file and the result was the same, I'm adding the logs (tail -f /opt/LCM/logs/apply) in text this time, any other ideas? Or could this be fixed in a future patch?

Thank you for sharing the logs.

I discovered a recently opened bug, CSCwm10281, related to the SP patch upgrade issue. This affects CSPC ISO installations. The developers are currently testing it, and the resolution or next steps will be published once the bug is addressed.
