HI guys, I have 4 ISE appliances, all are SNS-3415 appliances. The CSPC is discovering 2 of those 4 appliances as SNS3315, and is sending HW alerts as EoS for these 2 applainces.
Can anyone confirm me why it´s getting that system. I the two cases that I´m not getting the correct model I have no access to the CIMC.
I´m pasting here the show inventory of one that is not ok and below the other one that´s ok.
ise-cl/XXXX#
ise-cl/XXXX# sh inventory
NAME: "SNS-3415-K9 chassis", DESCR: "SNS-3415-K9 chassis"
PID: SNS-3415-K9
ise-br/XXXX# sh inventory
NAME: "SNS-3415-K9 chassis", DESCR: "SNS-3415-K9 chassis"
PID: SNS-3415-K9

Hello,
It looks like the 2 devices in question are returning a sysobjectID of 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.1.1423 which is ciscoIse3315K9. I think it would be best to check with device team on why this appliance is returning this value if it is actually a 3415. To confirm, can you share output of snmpwalk to sysobjectID of one of the devices returning the wrong value?
#snmpwalk -v2c -c <community string> <ip address> sysobjectid
Thank you,
Brandon

Hi Brandon, find the snmpwalk output below:
# SNMP command executed: /usr/bin/snmpwalk -M /usr/local/snmp/mibs -v2c -c e28a7a3e 172.18.144.46:161 -On sysobjectID
.1.3.6.1.2.1.1.2.0 = OID: .1.3.6.1.4.1.9.1.1423
May I open a TAC case with the UCS team?
Regards
Gabriel

Yes, I would suggest opening case with device team if you are able to.
Thanks!
