DNS Servers for the Collector

Hello,

When I issue "show ip" at the collector console I notice there are 5 DNS Servers configured. But the two servers that I entered during the setup are #s 4 and 5. What are the other name servers and is it advisable and/or possible to change the order so my DNS servers are first in the list?

Hi Andrew,

SSH into the collector as admin and run the following command:

conf dns -d <IP Address>

for each of the 3 existing DNS servers that are not yours. You should then see only your DNS servers.
