Solved: Firepower 2110 discovery issue

Hi !!

I tried to discover a couple of Firepower 2110 with collector v2.7. Both firewalls are discovered, but the collector reports them as routers, OS reported is not correct (IOSXR), hostname is not correct, and the only correct item is OS version. I will appreciate some help here.

This is due to a bug in the FPR2K that hasn't been fixed in FTD code yet. The FPR2K running FTD is returning an incorrect SNMP Sysobjectid that is the one used for NCS5K. CSPC will still collect basic data okay and the backend SNTC portal will report it as FPR2K. There will be some data missing because CSPC doesn't know it was an FTD for collection. There is a fix coming in CSPC2.8 to work-around this FTD bug so CSPC recognizes it as FTD and collects appropriately.
