Hey nalarcon171,
The collector should be able to scan and collect from the 192.168.x.x subnet. The devices just need to be configured with the SNMP version string used to discover them. However, if they are already discovered to collect there must not be any firewall or security measures that would block this process.
Can you private message me the serial numbers of the devices you are trying to collect and upload? This can be done by hovering over my username and selecting the Send Message option.
Thanks,
Justin

Hey nalarcon171,
How are you? I was correct with my second message in that the base PID will be checked rather than the entirety. Are there any other questions or issues? If there is not, please accept this post as an accepted answer so we know that the thread is closed out.
Thanks,
Justin

Hi Justin,
Nerio no longer works at Coasin but he indicated the following that was the last thing indicated by his person:
Hmm, some Nexus devices can definitely be collected and supported by the portal. I may have been incorrect and have checked the entire PID in the PID checker which shows unsupported rather than the base of the PID. For example C1-N9K-C9372PX-E is the PID I have showing for SN FDO20290ZB3 which shows as unsupported via the PID checker. However, N9K-C9372PX shows as being supported via Cisco Nexus 9000 series Switches. I will need to troubleshoot and confirm this with my colleagues and tech lead.
please ...I need your help!
Do you know if there is any solutions on this? (please see the message below), because I have to answer to our client, urgently.
Many Thanks!

Hey rominapina,
I am unsure by what you mean by the 'please see the message below' as I don't see anything at the bottom of your message. However, the message Nerio left you with is what I messaged him when we were working together. As indicated, you can use the PID Checker to see if devices are supported by the portal, however as I said use only the base of the PID i.e: N9K-C9372PX instead of C1-N9K-C9372PX-E.
Does that answer your question or does customer have other issues?
Thanks,

Hi Justin,
thank you very much for your reply.
Then you have to modify the PDI of C1 devices before uploading them to the Cisco portal so that they can be recognized ???

Hey rominapina,
I believe the PIDs will appear correctly once uploaded on the portal and the description/type should be listed as well.
Thanks,
Justin

Hey rominapina,
Enter the product model as shown on the devices. Let me know if there are issues with the devices when attempting to upload the CSV.
Thanks,
Justin
