Hi Team,

The Partner Natilik has Smartnet Total care and generated the Smart report and his customer Hiscox sent him a screenshot showing for the product ID: WS-C3750V2-24PS-S two different End of software maintenance dates. These dates are different to what partner finds online:

14th may 2017

23 may 2017

Kindly info which is correct EoSWM date, Cisco websites provided above or which one of the dates reflected on the the Cisco Smartnet Total care report?

Why is the Smart report picking up two dates for the same product?

Kind regards
Ree

These are two different types of EOL notices.  The first is the hardware bulletin.  All hardware has an EoSWM which is for s/w maintenance specific to that hardware.  The second is a software bulletin.  This is for the maintenance of specific software versions or trains and oftentimes is hardware-independent (in this case it is related).  There is not always alignment between the EoSWM milestones for a hardware & software EOL bulletin for the same device, especially when the SW EOL bulletin is not hardware-specific.
