CSAM User Agreement - Customer inquiry about item #8

Hello experts,

This question comes from a customer's security team. Can you elaborate on item #8:

8. Cisco may provide your name, email address, telephone number and other contact information to any person or entity who (a) requests to add a Blocked or Locked Contract Number or Bill to ID that you administer to his or her Cisco.com Profile, (b) requests entitlement to Cisco services based on a Contract Number or Bill to ID that you administer, or (c) requests entitlement to Cisco services based on a company Party site that you administer.

My assumption is that this means that Cisco may provide the contact information of the contract administrator to any user that requests access to said contract via their Cisco.com profile. Can you provide an explanation of when and how this would be done?

Thanks!

The precise manner varies depending on the type of access being requested.  Note that the agreement covers multiple types of access, to multiple types of Cisco services, not only SNTC portal access.  The specific case of SNTC access falls under item (c), where party-centric role-based access is granted by the Delegated Administrator using Cisco Services Access Management.

Once a user has been associated to their company party, the user would see the Delegated Administrator contact information displayed on the Company/Organization page in Cisco.com Profile Manager. A Delegated Administrator can choose to suppress the display of this information by changing their Notification Settings in Cisco Services Access Management.  In that case, the user is instead provided with a "blind email" function to contact their Delegated Administrator.

The Delegated Administrator's contact information may also appear in Notification emails that the user receives when the Delegated Administrator adds or removes access.

Thank you for the great information, Kevin!
