Hi Dominic

I know this not gonna help you, but I faced the same problem and it was solved by enabling the system qos.

license fcoe module 7

!

install feature-set fcoe

!

system qos

  service-policy type network-qos default-nq-7e-policy

!

vdc FCOE id 4 type storage

  limit-resource module-type f1

  allow feature-set fcoe

Cheers

Kenneth

Hello Dominic

Do you have the QoS enabled? If not, you will need this service-policy under system qos

N7K-24-12-7010-1# sh run ipqos

!Command: show running-config ipqos

!Time: Thu Jun 28 08:17:43 2012

version 5.2(4)

system qos

  service-policy type network-qos default-nq-7e-policy

This is how you check for licenses

N7K-24-12-7010-1# sh license usage

Feature                      Ins  Lic   Status Expiry Date Comments

Hi,

So we have checkd and confirmed the licensing and qos is all good -

But the storage vdc created still fails after a 10-15 min wait
