Cisco Business Dashboard writing pending config 'Internal Error'

I have an SG300 28p and Cisco Business dashboard is reporting a critical error that the configuration is out of sync.

However whenever i try to deploy the pending config it fails with the error: 'Internal error'

I have other SG300 on the same network/subnet, configured the same way, and they are able to apply the pending config without issue.

i have rebooted the switch and updated it to the latest firmware/boot code

i have reset it to factory default settings. same issue.

can someone help assist with resolving this error?
