Connecting Client to SG200-18 to RV325 - Network Down....

Hi All

Network Topology

Internet > RV325 > SG200-18

4 VLANs setup

4 WAP371 APs

All devices connected via the SG200-18 switch

All Network devices running ALL the Vlans.

RV325 - Routing on Stick setup - no inter-vlan routing.

SG200-18 = RSTP Root Brigde

I assume that the RV325 doesn't support STP and is transparent.

VLAN1 = Default VLAN

When I connect my Mac to Vlan 1 (single ethernet port on switch) - it works fine, however when I disconnect the Mac the switch goes down (all ports are RED on PRTG). RV325 remains unaffected.

When I connect the same MAC via wireless to vlan 1 - it all works fine and doesn't impact the switch when disconnected.

I suspect a STP storm, however not sure how to fix this.

Any guidance appreciated.

What is the logs on SG200-18

Post show run ( Do you have Vlan 1 SVI configured on SG200-18  ?)  - is so one of the access port required to be UP, if not vlan 1 interface goes down - (this high level with out seeing any config of yours)
