Hi there,
i want to create a certificate with our internal CA, but no matter what i do, i get this error message every three minutes.
Error %SSL-E-SSLCERTFAIL: Error: server certificate validation failed
Therefore my question is, how do i create a certificate request and import it correctly.
I had no problems with it on the older SG300.
Thanks for any help.

Can you verify that you completed the certificate import steps according to this article: https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/smb/switches/cisco-550x-series-stackable-managed-switches/KMGMT-1527-How-to-import-certificate-on-350-and-550-series-switches.html

Hi @TJ-20933766
Thanks for the tip.
Once i processed the whole thing as described there, but without success. The error message is still there.
%SSL-E-SSLCERTFAIL: Error: server certificate validation failed
This error message is also not mentioned / described in the article.
A certificate request also fails completely.
Importing the certificate from the CA, with or without a private key, also fails with this error message.
SSL can't import certificate - conversion of input to certificate failed.
That seems to be a general bug. Currently i am flooded every 3 minutes with the warning message "server certificate validation failed", how can this be turned off, or how do you successfully generate a certificate without these error messages?
