List unknown when you issue the command show interface ether x/x  

First we need to know model of the SFP

if this is cisco GLS-T follow below steps :

1. remove the SFP from port

2. shutdown the port

3. set the speed 1000

4 insert the SFP

5. unshut the port and test it.
