2851 bad memory block

I had some strange crashes recently on a 2851.

When checking the crash logs I have found that the crash is due to a Address Error (load or instruction fetch) exception.

The exception happens at the same address every time.

Is there a way to isolate that memory block from active memory / to mark it as unusable so the system will no longer try to read from it ?

Is the memory module on the 2851 replaceable or is soldered into the MB ?

hi,

no you can't isolate/disable the memory block and refrain the router from using it.

the memory stick is replaceable on its DIMM expansion slot:

but before you do that, i would suggest to open a TAC case, if still under contract, to properly diagnose that it's indeed a bad memory/RAM problem.
