Hi,
I am having issues with both of my 3560 (WS-C3560-48TS-S) switches. They both boot and pass POST however once it makes it to a certain section it both hang up. I appreciate any help anyone can give me.

Try disabling flow control in putty and try the console again.

Tired it and stills hang after the Vlan 1 status. Could it possibly be that I deleted the vlan.dat file in ROMMON?

No, that won't be the issue.
The issue is 99% likely to be your terminal program or console cable.
Lets try this a different way. Have you got a Mini-USB cable and can you use the USB console port instead?
Failing that, can you plug the management port of the switch into a DHCP server, wait for it to get an IP address, and then telnet into it (via the management port)?

how about trying on a different software like tera term

Tried both and still no luck. Continues to hang in the same place. I even blew away the IOS, copied with Xmodem and rebooted. Still hangs in the same spot.
Any way to blow away the start-up config in ROMMON? I think I may have screwed something up configuring them.

I was able to resolve the issue by renaming the config.text file in ROMmon to config.text.old then boot.
Thanks for the help everyone.
