3650 Switch Stack member issue

We have 2 3650 switches in stack. i m unable to login standby stack member (switch2) using command "session" as advised in documents.

Please advise how to login standby/stack members from active switch and commands.

IOS  - Denali 16.3.5 IOS versions - ipservicesk9 - WS-C3650-48PD

It should work from the master switch using session <switch number>

cannot find docu for it,

but maybe this command does not work from a telnet/ssh session, only from the physical consoleport on the active master?

I thought found it!

first you must start TWO remote session to the same switch

then from one of those sessions you can "session #" to a specific member

but this is not correct.

the session command is active on an old stack using c3750-ipbasek9-mz.122-55.SE10.bin

but not on a modern stack using Cisco IOS XE Software, Version 16.06.04
