When I set up portfast to physical and logical ports, I want to know if it works the same way and what the differences are.

Usually portfast applies to physical ports facing end devices like PCs, Laptops, printers, etc..

Not sure what you mean by logical? If it is on Portchannles, it works the same way and has the same effect.

If so, do you need to configure portfast on both int port channel1 and the physical ports it contains?

For Portchannels, you apply the command to the Portchannel interface only and the individual physical interfaces will inherent the config from the Portchannel.
