Hi,
We have a 3750G stack formed by 3 switches. We wanto to make the following configuration:
We have no problem on the configuration commands, but we have found out that we have a limitation on the source sessions. We were thinking on creating three differente monitor sessions:
monitor session 1 source interface gigabitethernet1/0/1
monitor session 1 destination interface gigabitethernet1/0/2
monitor session 2 source interface gigabitethernet1/0/3
monitor session 2 filter vlan 100
monitor session 2 destination interface gigabitethernet1/0/4
monitor session 3 source interface gigabitethernet1/0/3
monitor session 3 filter vlan 101
monitor session 3 destination interface gigabitethernet1/0/5
But, when we started configuring the third monitor session we received an error:
"Platform can support a maximum of 2 source sessions".
Investigating on the web we found this link:
There, we can read:
"The switch supports up to two source sessions (local SPAN and RSPAN source sessions). You can run both a local SPAN and an RSPAN source session in the same switch stack. The switch stack supports a total of 66 source and RSPAN destination sessions."
So then, we imagine that we cannot achieve what we are trying to do. Are we right?
Any idea or suggestion will be welcomed.
Thanks in advance!!

David, that's not correct.
Catalyst 4900M, Catalyst 4948E, Supervisor Engine 6-E, and Supervisor Engine 6L-E allow a maximum of 16 SPAN/RSPAN sessions ( 8 concurrent sessions with Rx sources and 8 concurrent sessions with Tx sources).
The Sup7 engine allows for 8 bi-directional span sessions.
