Hello,

I just started a evaluation license for IP Base on my 3850 switches. But i can't configure HSRP cause the commands are not there (I rebooted allready). Do you need enterprise for HSRP on the 3850?

With kind regards,

Martijn.

HSRP is supported in Ipbase and IP Services Lic.

Kindly check Lic is activated or not.

Thanks for the heads up on this one. I am disappointed with this. Cisco tells us:

"Since Cisco IOS XE contains Cisco IOS within itself as IOSd, all features created within IOS will also appear in IOS XE and vice versa. Only new integrated services and functionality created outside of IOSd will not be shared with a Cisco IOS release. However, these integrated services may be introduced on a Cisco IOS platform through the use of Integrated Services daughter cards which will be available on a platform by platform basis."

And we get that huge list of unsupported features instead. I did not see GLBP listed in there have you tried configuring that?

Greg and Martijn,

You would think, they would be available day1 right

According to the ask the expert Q&A,  HSRP, VRRP is coming sometimes in 2013:
