Solved: 6506 vs 6506E

Can I use the same ios file for any of the 6506 or 6509 or do I need to download individual file for 6506 and 6506E.

The IOS is dependant on the Supervisor but not the chassis. So yes you can use the same IOS on a 6506 and a 6506E chassis and you can use this same IOS on a 6509 and a 6509E.
