9300 Stack stuck in ILP:: POE POST detail for switch 2: PASS

Hi friends, 

Working on a 4 switch stack and after powering master (1) then the Standby switch (2) in this sequence I get the following message in a infinite loop:

*Nov 23 15:26:08.012: ILP:: POE POST detail for switch 2: PASS
*Nov 23 15:26:08.012: ILP:: Able to get POE POST from switch 2 MCU
*Nov 23 15:26:18.012: ILP:: switch 2 POE mode : IEEE AT
*Nov 23 15:26:18.012: ILP:: POE POST detail for switch 2: PASS
*Nov 23 15:26:18.012: ILP:: Able to get POE POST from switch 2 MCU
*Nov 23 15:26:28.012: ILP:: switch 2 POE mode : IEEE AT
*Nov 23 15:26:28.012: ILP:: POE POST detail for switch 2: PASS
*Nov 23 15:26:28.012: ILP:: Able to get POE POST from switch 2 MCU

Thanks everyone! 

I unplugged the the switches and disconnected the stack cables swapped some power supplies between sw1 and sw2 then ran  com cable to sw2 only and the switch had to update some micro code. Then powered on sw1 without stack cables on, connected stack cables, powered on sw2, then sw3 and sw4. I might of changed the numbers or the priority values, I tried a lot of different things until got it fixed. Next time will try to document better every step of the fix.

is this output from master or memeber console ?

Stacking rules.

1. Models should be same (look at the stacking guide of cat 9300)

2. make sure IOS XE code same

3. check stack cable intact.

 

1. provide device full model, what IOS code running.

2. what is the status if not stacking (standalone is that boot ?)
