9407 Password Recovery

Hi,

     The switch 9497 is locked and neither console nor ssh possible. I tried to recover the password by pulling out a passive supervisor and interrupting the booting process by pressing ctr+c but it does not enter to ROMMON mode.  Any ideas will be highly appreciated.  configuration is similar to below.

here is the password proceedure for 9400  - Look at page 214  ( in the orginal post you mentioned 9497, and tagged to Cat4000 switch, please confirm the model also)

Also refer page 203 - in your case if applicable.

If you have followed above proceedure, like to know what Client you using Putty or Secure CRT.

Please confirm do you able to view the boot process on the console ?

I am already trying to follow the procedure you recommended. But the issue is that I am not able to interrupt the boot procedure. I tried with both SecureCRT and Putty. I am working on 9407.
