add to stack two switch WS-C3850-24S with different firmware

Hi All !!

Have two switch WS-C3850-24S and i want add to stack, but switch have different firmware. In one have WS-C3850-24S  03.06.02aE        cat3k_caa-universalk9 INSTALL

ipbasek9            Permanent        ipbasek9

and  on the other

WS-C3850-24S       16.3.5b           CAT3K_CAA-UNIVERSALK9 INSTALL. 

license Level: Ipbase

 My question, iit is possible to install universal SOFTWARE and configure them in the stack ?

Yes, it is possible to upgrade the firmware of the switch using Install mode. The complete instructions can be found in the Release Notes.
