Hi
I have a 9300 switch where I had some issues with a 9300 switch that got fixed by a restart. I am now looking into the tracefiles to see if I can find anything interesting.
In the old days Cisco had a tool to analyze tracefiles and crashinfo files.
Does anyone know of any tool or article where I can find more information from the tracefile I have generated with:
#request platform software trace slot switch 1 r0 archive

I have now been through the pressentation and it have a lot of good information but not anything that can help me.
The command you reference does not exist on my switch:
switch#show platform software trace
% Incomplete command.
switch#show platform software trace ?
counter Show counter value of modules
filter-binary Filter the modules to collated, eg. wireless or wireline
level Show trace levels
message Show trace message ring contents
I have looked on all the files in the tar.gz file i get. But none of them have any usefull information. And all the information they show in the slides are not available in my dump.
I am not sure what I am looking for but it would be create if there was a tool to run through the file and look for issues.

you can export crash files and read if you are more interested to know...since IOS XE is modular, many things are changed.
