Where would i find the the lastest boot strap for a 3640 router?

BootStrap is on the chip and firmware isn't available for upgrade. You can only field-upgrade the IOS.

Edison, you could upgrade the SP ROMMON and RP ROMMON on a 6500 switch, though...correct?

Correct, you can also upgrade the bootloader in the 7200 router.

PS:
Since 6500s and 7200 have been mentioned, just wanted to also note I believe other newer routers also support software upgrades to their ROMMON, such as (but not limited to) the 37xx and 38xx, but not the 36xx.
PPS:
Also, other hardware within some of the larger routers and switches also support firmware software upgrades.

Thanks. I have upgraded it on a 3845 and didn't know if it was possible to do that on a 3640. Thanks!
