C9200 with NM-4X

Hello all,

I have a stack of C9200-24T with NM-4X modules. I have a couple 1G SFPs installed and in the running-config I can see G1/1/1 - G1/1/4 and T1/1/1 - T1/1/4 so I figure I could use G1/1/1-G1/1/4 since I have 1G SFPs. But then I run "show int status" I do not see G1/1/1-G1/1/4 I can only see T1/1/1-T1/1/4. And when I run "show int G1/1/1" I am not seeing the 1G SFP but I can see the 1G SFP when I run "show int T1/1/1"

So which interface should I use G1/1/1 or T1/1/1 ? I am confused ...

Thanks all for any inputs / suggestions !!!

Danny

Hi @dtran

 You shold use the T1/1/1.

If did not find for 9200, but 9300 we can se the information below that I believe explain your case.  As the module below is NM-4G, Cisco ask to Disregard the interfaces Ten but in your case as the module is NM-4X the Disregard should be for interface Gi1/1/x
