HI

The interfaces does not seem to auto-negotiate to 1G although i have 1g sfp installed.

so whats the problem its auto now at 1000mbs ? its up and working

Cannot ping gateway.

switchport mode is trunk.

Thats not the same issue as original post due to negotiation and your not providing enough information to tshoot either way

what gateway IP , where is it on same switch or upstream on another device ?
is the trunk formed and all vlans passing ?
whats connected to the port t1/1/2 and whats connected to it , pc , vm andother switch etc ?

Hi,

Your issue and post both are seems different. Are you allowed all VLANs and native VLAN is also same?  Is system in correct vlan?
