In the past I have 2 units C9500-24Y4C-A running IOS 16.9.4. the SVL(Stackwise Virtual Link) between both 25G x2.
so total 50G
As below

But.... recent purchased of C9500-24Y4C-A & C9500-48Y4C-A running on IOS 17.03.03, the SVL only 10G, with 2 link total 20G only.

Not that i aware of this big change should go up with the latest firmware not degrade, before getting in too deep of the issue

i would first physically investigate, what kind of SFP modules installed on new switches on port  1/0/47 and 2/0/47 by issue command

show interface tw 1/0/47 trans details

show interface tw 2/0/47 trans details

"SFP+ 10GBASE-SR"

You have 10G SFP, you looking that become 25GB is this possible ? (its not)

you need to buy 25GB SFP optic Module for the port to support 25GB, then you see 50GB. - this not an issue with hardware.

you have lower SFP which show you 20GB that is correct.

Hi,

If I am not reading incorrectly, You are using an SFP module "SFP-10G-SR" and its data rate is 10G only. So the mentioned output is correct. You have to upgrade your SFP modules.

Regards,
Deepak Kumar,
Don't forget to vote and accept the solution if this comment will help you!

But then what to explain I have another old stack C9500-24Y4C running IOS 16.09.04.

I can use SFP-10G-LR to achieve 25G SVL.

Does it mean Cisco limit SFP+ on newer IOS?
