Dear all!

I'm stuck in the rommon mode on my 9500, so I performed factory reset earlier this day, after reset it seems like it removed all the files including the start-up pkg & conf, I tried to dir flash and bootflash, both has nothing in it, anyone know how to solve this?

From ROMMON, use the command "boot usbflash0:filemane.bin".

Once the switch boots the firmware, copy the firmware back into the flash and perform the Install Mode to unpack the package files.

Hi Leo thanks for the reply, it displays the error message below:

rommon 15 > boot usbflash0:cat9k_iosxe.17.06.05.SPA.bin
boot: attempting to boot from [usbflash0:cat9k_iosxe.17.06.05.SPA.bin]
%ERROR: File system protocol not found on device (Unsupported)
ERROR: failed to boot from usbflash0:cat9k_iosxe.17.06.05.SPA.bin (Unsupported)

Is the file in a USB flash drive and plugged into the USB port?

yes it is, I now can execute the command then I got this error message:

Integrity Check Failed:
boot: failed to boot file usbflash0:cat9k_iosxe.17.06.05.SPA.bin
ERROR: failed to boot from usbflash0:cat9k_iosxe.17.06.05.SPA.bin (Aborted)

I'm pretty sure that my bin file is okay cuz I just finish setting up a same device with this same bin file

The USB flash drive is incompatible with the switch.  Try another brand and keep it <64 Gb in size.

I tried three different vendors of USB, and the current one is the only one that's able to boot from it, but it only allows me to boot with 17.03.XX's bin file, but the old version bin file got erased when I was trying to factory reset the second switch....., and I'm sure it's < 64Gb.

Post the complete output to the following commands:

1.  dir flash:
2.  set

rommon 19 > dir flash:

rommon 20 >

rommon 21 > set
