Hi All
I'm really tight for time on this as I have to supply a BOM to a client within the hour . Do you know if I can create a 3750 switch stack with 2 x 3750-S or E 10/100/1000's and 2 x 3750-S or E 10GB switches, where the 10gb switches sit at the top and bottom of the stack and connect to the 6509 Dist layer, leaving the 10/100/1000's daisy chained between the two 10gb with stackwise ?
Here are the BOM's I'm looking at but I need to be sure there won't be any incompatibilty. If there is, I will just get all 10gb switches in the stack.
10/100/1000
S

E

And 10gb

CVR-X2-SFP | Cisco TwinGig Converter Module |
GLC-SX-MM | Multi Mode SFP |
E
WS-C3750E-48PD-E | Catalyst 3750E 48 10/100/1000 PoE+2*10GE(X2),750W,IPS s/w |
CAB-STACK-50CM | Cisco StackWise 50CM Stacking Cable |
CAB-ACU | AC Power Cord (UK), C13, BS 1363, 2.5m |
CVR-X2-SFP-2 | Two (2) Cisco TwinGig Converter Modules |
S3750EVK9T-12250SE | CAT 3750E IOS UNIVERSAL WITH WEB BASE DEV MGR |
CVR-X2-SFP | Cisco TwinGig Converter Module |
GLC-SX-MM | Multi Mode SFP |
The solution will be either the E or S, not a combination of both.
Thanks in advance for any help you can give me. |

Sure. Just follow the rule-of-thumb:
1. Entire stack must run the same IOS version; and
2. Entire stack must run the same Feature Set (example: IP Base).
