ISP provided me and gateway address  connecting to  their router( meto E).

I can ping outside the network when logged into the switch  through telnet but not when connected through a pc on the vlan.

.

Hi Robert,

Unfortunately, you are right the 3560 does not Support NAT, on this case my recommendation would be to place a Router in front of this 3560, to do the NAT configuration and your internal hosts will have internet access. FYI the only switches that support NAT are the 6500 and 5500 series with  min 11.2 P.

Hi @,

Are you doing NAT or PAT for private IP addresses? Remember that the ISP just see the public IP address that it gives to you (207.70.170.42 in your case).

You should configure NAT so that your private IP ranges get translated into your public IP address.

If you need help in configuring NAT just tell me.

Hi Martin,

I looked into that earlier but from what I read NAT was not supported on the Cisco 3560. But if that is not the case some help would be much appreciated.

Thanks,
Robert
