can we connect two VSS enable groups via HSRP

I have four 6500 series switches and made two groups of VSS, two 6500 switches in each group.

Can I connect both groups by using HSRP?

Hello,

Yes, you can do this to have more redundancy, hence each VSS is a different L3 entity from the logical point of view. Thus you can run HSRP or other FHRPs between the two VSS entities.
