Catalyst 4006 supporting 10GBit??

Hello guys,

is there any kind of solution running a WS-C4006 with a 10 GBit Module? And if yes, which

are compatible? I can´t find anything about it on the homepage. Seems it does only

support Gigabit.

   If you are talking a catos box then the answer is no , only  supports gigabit cards .  If you are talking  a IOS supervisor in a 4006 chassis then  it might.  Just read the release notes  for whatever  version it is . It tells you what hardware and cards are supported.

Depends on what Supervisor Card you are using.

Besides, the 4000-series chassis can't really push anything near 5Gb per chassis or per slot.
