Catalyst 9500 Stackwise Virtual

Can you run Stackwise Virtual on more than two switches? For example, if I wanted to have a stack of (3) Catalyst 9500-40X switches, could I do that?

The 9500 series switches are designed to be used as core switches and so Stackwise Virtual is another word for VSS which is used in other platforms like 4500, 6800, etc..So, the limitation is 2.
